Hello World!

Hello World! – Oh I’ve written that quite a few times over the years. It’s a tradition in the world of web design, and thus with the rebirth of this website I say Hello again to all of you! Any returning visitors won’t be finding any of the same old journalist crap I used to write about here. I’m out of that racket. Rather, I’d like to focus this blog/website on just a few of my main passions, those being cinematography, music, and photography. So as I photograph local shows and whatnot I’ll post those. If I write any songs or hear any great music I’ll post that (and I’ll try really hard not to post constant Radiohead – but no promises). And most importantly (to me) I’ll post my finished film projects here for the world to berate and belittle – and please do – as I aspire to master the art of film I’d appreciate any and all comments!

I’d also like to apologize for the prolonged barren state of this webpage. The last year has been quite the ride, and I’m still not sure I’m making it out alive just yet. I just found out I’m going to be having heart surgery this summer. Bummer. But honestly it has really motivated me; to clean up my act, to be healthier, and to focus on my main passions. Because life is far too short. So follow me as I follow my dreams and hopefully I can inspire a few folks out there, or at the very least help you out with any of the topics I’m discussing here. I love to chat and write so feel free to contact me if you’d like, info here.

And to start things off right, here’s a few photos of some of the lovely performers from last night at Caffe Trieste in downtown SJ. This is Kristen Gradwohl and Adira Sharkey (I apologize for the poor compression, I’ll fix it later after my portfolio/gallery is finished).
